DNS-Related Phone Registration Issues

Incident Report for Viirtue

Identified

We’ve received reports from other NetSapiens providers as well as Viirtue customers suggesting that certain public DNS servers, specifically Google (8.8.8.8) and FortiGate (96.45.45.45 / 96.45.46.46), may be contributing to phone registration issues.

While we cannot confirm that changing DNS settings will fully resolve the issue, switching to your ISP’s default DNS servers may help as a troubleshooting step. If you would like to include other public DNS providers, we recommend Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) as that has been showing successful results so far.
Please note that this issue appears to be related to external public DNS services and is outside of our direct control.

We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
